This list is nonexhaustive, but to give everyone a taste of what goes on behind the scenes in a MLB front office, here's an exclusive look at our trade negotiations and strategy for week one of the real-life offseason.

AVAILABLE FOR TRAD
1B/3B/OF Yandy Díaz Fernández ($8m/$10m/$12m[co])
2B/LF Brandon Pfaadt Lowe ($8.75m/$10.5m[co]/$11.5m[co])
SP Tyler Anderson Glasnow ($25m)
RP Jason Alexander Adams ($3m in arb-2, player is super 2)
CF Manuel Ramirez Margot ($10m/$12m[mo])
I am interested in moving either B. Lowe or Y. Diaz, but not both. So if you want either please let me know ASAP. As of 9:23am PT on 11/3/23 the leading offers are all for Y. Diaz, and they are:
OFFER ONE
top-100 (50-70) outfield prospect
young MLB reliever with back-end tools
high-variance lower system t30 IF
high-floor system t30 C
OFFER TWO
system t30 SS who should break into t100 pre-2024
system t30 OF who should break into t100 pre-2024
older MLB reliever with control
MLB/MiLB reliever with insane stuff
OFFER THREE
young former t100 MLB 1B
system t30 OF
MLB setup reliever
An offer for B. Lowe would need to be equivalent to this, less Yandy Diaz's value, plus B. Lowe's value. Or something.
For T. Glasnow I am in search of two players in return: an outfielder with lots of control years and a reliever who can be part of the Rays bullpen for years to come. Glasnow still has surplus value and is on a one-year deal, so I am not at all married to the idea of trading for him. Currently the leading offer as of 9:31am on 11/3/23 is:
Glove-first MLB shortstop with years and years of control
AAAA depth Starting Pitcher
For M. Margot, the leading offer as of 9:30am on 11/3/23 is:
AAAA outfielder with a funny name
Low minors outfielder with a funny name
I am not interested in salary dumping M. Margot.
My priority at this stage is on Y. Diaz/B. Lowe and T. Glasnow. Once one of those two trades is made, the Shohei Ohtani sweepstakes will have a new entrant.
