A couple hours ago, 2024 Tampa Bay Rays leadership met with 2024 Seattle Mariners and 2024 Chicago Cubs leadership to put the finishing touches on the first three-way trade of the season.
THE 2024 TAMPA BAY RAYS ACQUIRE:
SCARLYN LEBRON - RP
King Scarlyn comes from the GOAT lineage and will surely rein supreme in Tampa. He strikes batters out. That's what he likes to do and he does it with gusto. Hail King Scarlyn.
THE 2024 SEATTLE MARINERS ACQUIRE:
RAILIN TEA - IF
Railin is actually kind of sick, but his name fits absolutely perfectly in this trade. Happy for the Mariners here honestly, they're a proud organization with a storied history.
THE 2024 CHICAGO CUBS ACQUIRE:
SHADDEN PEAVYHOUSE - P
Haha, all the Cubs got was a mediocre 24 year-old pitcher in A-ball. Sucks for them that they got so fleeced but that's mainly why we wanted to close this deal! Haha!
